You can create a transfer whenever needed with your account, and it will be initiated right away. However, when the transfer is actually sent depends on the processing times of the recipient bank, typically during local business hours.

Transfers made outside of business hours (including weekends or public holidays) may not be processed until the next available business day. During this time, the status will show as "Processing" in your account until it is sent, at which point the status will update to "Sent."

What is the "transfer date"?

The transfer date is the day we send the funds to your recipient, not the day they receive it. Your transfers are set defautly to the earliest available transfer date, which is typically the current date.

Recipients usually receive the funds within 0-3 business days from this date, depending on bank processing times.

What happens if the transfer date is a holiday for the currency of your recipient?

If the date you choose for us to send your transfer falls on a holiday or non-business day for your recipient’s currency, then we’ll send the money on the next business day.

Please note, because our partners are located in different time zones across the globe, transfers may also be impacted by regional holidays in the countries you are sending to and from.

Which timezone is my transfer date in?

Your transfer date is based on the time zone you’re in when you initiate the transfer. This means that regardless of where you are, the transfer date will align with your local time zone at that moment.
